Hi i lost my turtoise about a month ago. i was letting him out side and i forgot about him for like 3 hours. so when i started looking for him he was gone. My family and i was looking for him for days. But nothing happened. So a month later my cousin found him. i saw that his eyes won't open and his mouth won't open and i can't get him to eat. do you have any idea how i can get him to open his eyes or eat? Also do you think he hibernated? Thanks
Hi, I am sorry to hear about your misfortune. If your turtle has been missing for days, he has not be getting the nutrition he needs... Eye health is when he is lacking vitamin A, and bone/shell health is when he is lacking calcium and phosphorus, and B vitamin's etc for over all health....I would suggest, getting a vet to look at him a.s.a.p. and see what he suggests..I hope he gets better really soon, sincerely, Susan.
