African hingeback tortoise

my roomate just moved out and left his african hingeback tortoise, however he only left it and the tank taking the light sources. i need to know what type of lighting to use to keep it alive and healthy. is a heat lamp and light from the room enough? if so what size of a heat lamp?(its in a 10 gallon aquarium). or should i use some type of light fixture along with the heat lamp? if so what kind? also im having trouble keeping the humidity in the tank at the correct level, any suggestions?
