Baby Sulcata died :(

I had my sulcata tortoise in the sun and when the sun was going down I brought it in. I found it hiding in its shell and I touch it and the shell was soft and it was like sucked in. I don't know what happen. It was dead it was sucked in its shell and had the eyes wide open. Then the next day a green spot on its belly appeared. I don't know what happen.
