Bleeding

We Found this Tortise a few Weeks Back, We've been taking good care of him..... A few minutes ago i noticed a small crack to the top of his shell with blood coming from it.... is this serious..... he is also making a grunting type of noise... its scaring me what do i do?

Any bleeding warrants a trip to the vet.

Sounds like the tortoise u have found is in trouble- may have been attacked or fallen. The crack may have affected it's breathing thus the grunting, never mind the extreme pain this may be causing. I think you should visit a vet as soon as possible- any blood drawing injury could cause serious problems. Good luck and I wish him well!
