Blondie is Biting Flash her Boyfriend Russian Tortoise

My Sweet Balze

Hi Everyone,
My Sweet Blond Bombshell Blaze has been a little Testy lately. She and her boyfriend Flash have mated recently and now anytime he comes by her she bites him really hard, and sometimes she will bite the other Russian Tortoises. I put her in a time-out for a few hours and she seems better, but my question is why is she starting her biting? Does anyone know, or have they had the same problem with their Tortoises...Pls help me, I'm starting to worry.

Thank You, I was thinking the same thing..I don't think she neeeds to be bothered if she needs to lay her eggs....

Time out

The time out is a great idea. She needs time and space right now. Give it to her. She may need to lay eggs.
