broke my frnds tortoise shell

i was at my frnds house when i accidently dropped her palm sized tortoise i think the upper portion of the shell is cracked cuz it started bleeding there . will the tortoise die or something i am very scared!!

At this point, only the vet would be able to help. I suggest asap you get it to a vet.

I know you would never do it intentionally, and you must feel very bad, but accidents happen.

Tortoises shouldn't be handled that much, or that high from the ground.
