whoops! i found out my "tortoise" is actually a box turtle! i guess this won't help much! thanks any way!

I would keep them separated. Each type has its own immunities and diseases that could kill it or at least make it ill. If you put them close to each other, you are inviting illness.
Keep it slow and steady.

i was wondering the same thing. i have a tortoise and my friend has a turtle. if i brought my tortoise to my friend's house, would they get along?

a tortoise is an on land animal and a turtle is a water animal....on land im sure they wouldnt care about eachother and would be happier staying in water if tyrtle and out of water if tortoise!
