Does a desert tortoise feel pain?

My desert tortoise was attacked by a dog and sustained two deep gashes in two of her legs. We are caring for her at home and she doesn't seem to be in any pain despite her injuries. How can we tell if she is in pain?

All creatures feel pain , some just take it better than others . And unlike us who can voice it or dogs that can whine ect , they cannot voice it . Take your pet to a vet so they can ease its pain .

Yes, your tortoise can feel pain.

Please get the injuries cleaned by a vet.
