My question is: Once a hatchling's eyes start looking dry and cloudy. What is the best solution to bring them back to normal. Also my tortoise is having trouble eating because of this?
This one sounds very serious to me. Without seeing your toroise, I can only guess that you might be dealing with caseated pus. This must be removed by a vet and then treated medically.
Run, don't walk to a vet, preferably one who is experienced with tortoises.
