eye problem

have just bought a horsfield tortoise today,i have put him in his new enclosure and seams to be lovin the extra space,i have jus notised dis evening that under his left eye he has some white fluid not nuch but a bit it looks like suds fron washin up liquid,is this normal or is it something i may have in the enclosure i have wood chips as the base??

thanks for that anon seams to have cleared up now but will keep an eye on it, thinkin it might have been the dust frm the bark but hes doin grand now

I would have that checked out. Clear fluid can come from the eyes of desert tortoises. Otherwise, a tortoise's eyes should be clear.
