Hi,I got a Hermann tortoise on the 8th January and have recently noticed that when he wakes up left eye takes longer than the right one to open. I was just wondering if this is something i should worry about?
i recently bought mine and its doing exactly the same we rang the plce were we got her from and they said that its perfectly normal she may just be to cold when she sleeps and this can cause what we class as sleep and to keep an eye on her :)

Sounds like it may have an eye infection, pls take to vet for check up...
