food is stuck!

When my turtle openend its mouth, I put food in there because i thought it was hungry and now its stuck in its throat! What should I do?? There are no vets here..and my turtle is still suffering.

maybe you can try putting your turtle in some warm water and (not too deep) and he will drink some and the food will go down. good luck
