Freaky things in poop.

My baby redfoot tortoise had little pure white things in his poo, it was old because it fell under his food dish and i didn't notice them, i have never seen these before and they don't fit the description of mites. after i saw these i piced up all the substrate of the area and threw it out. i haven't seen anything on my redfoot and these where buried and eating the poo, and i also saw something that looked like a springtail in the area, but nowhere else.

my tortoises poo is green to black and solid, this poo was mushy from being buried in the damp substrate.


is this normal like maggots in dog poo?

please, i want my redfoot to live very very long, not die early. thank you.
