fresh water turtle not feeding

I have 2 fresh water turtles. One is feeding well and growing nicely. The other is more shy and since we've come back from holiday it has totally stopped eating. It has lost weight (the legs have gone skinny) and has no interest in food. I have tried to open his mouth but unsuccessfully. It sometimes rubs his eyes and spends most of the time sleeping. What should I do?

Sick Turtle?

I am worried about your turtle just like you are.

I think he is sick. He has to see a vet. He might make your other turtle sick. No one can say exactly what is wrong with a turtle without seeing it, so I hope you will take it to a vet.

I hope you find out what to do with your friend.

Keep it slow and steady.
