we have had our tortoise about 15 months now. We were told she is about 4 years old? She loves to walk around our house with us, but latly she does not want to be in her enclosure at all. I relize she needs her uv and heat. Last night she just kept digging on the glass 3 hours later i had to let her out. Help. Her cage is about 84 degrees right now. The place she likes to sleep in our house is a dark cold place. Is she wanting to hibernate or something? wierd.. please help

restless tortoise

hello dear
it seems that although you are providing the same environment to your turtle, its getting restless.
may be your turtle wants to be near you. or it just wants a change.
my suggestion is, observe your turtle carefully. is it more happy being outside? if yes then provide it the same. dont put it back in its cage. make it feel comfortable.
if the problem is still not getting solved, then consult a vet and get it checked.
