I bought an African Sideneck at Petsmart about 2 months ago. He seems perfectly healthy, and is a very lively turtle. But today I noticed a green spot on his head. In the water, it looks like he was marked with a Sharpie. Out of the water it just looks like he bumped into something. What is this spot? Is it harmful for him? If so, how do I take care of it?
