its shell is not soft but the sections look like there seperating. the lines are light colored between the sections. it is still very active and has a healthy appetite. i have had it about 2months and told it is less than a year old.it is getting the proper lighting and diet. is this normal shell change for it?

If the light area is a normal shape like the rest of the shell, then it's just growth, but if there are large dips or bumps where the lighter color is, then there might be a deficiency. Do you have a picture?
