Most species of tortoise do not need "friends." In the wild they live a solitary life. If you put too many tortoises together in a small space, you will have at least two problems.
1. They will be stressed because they want to be alone and can't be.
2. If you mix breeds, you could be introducing dangerous diseases to both animals.
Keep it slow and steady.

just think if u were alone? each and every creature if kept alone will surely get boared. so the best u can do is keep it with its friends or carry it along with u. i think keeping it with its friends is the best potion.

How challenging is the habitat? Do you sometimes put in something for your tortoise to expore? Try putting food in a different spot. You don't ahve to make drastic changes, jsut do sometnign different from time to time.
