Yellow Bellied Slider

Photos are always nice.

I wrote a page about how to tell if you are living with a boy or a girl. You can read about that at
http://www.totallytortoise.com/sexing-a-tortoise.html

As for how old your yellow bellied slider is, you either have to be around when your slider hatches, or you can measure its size. A slider will be 4-5 inches long in its first year and 5-7 inches long in its second year. Once it is an adult, the size won't change, and you can't tell exactly how old it is.

Keep it slow and steady.
