I dont know what is wrong with my tortoise!

Could you please help me?
My tortoise is about 10 months old and we have had him for just over a month now.
When we first got him, he was very active, ate regularly and drank normally as well.
Over the past week, he has stopped eating, makes squeaking noises while opening his mouth a lot, and is hardly moving anywhere. He seems to be struggling to.
We have no idea what is wrong! Please help?

sounds like he has a upper respiratory infection. he is opening his mouth trying to breathe. get him to the vet asap. there is non home remedy for this, he will need meds to recover.

i'm not sure about the rest of it, but the squeaking is mating noises, it's about spring time. check to make sure you have the right temperature and humidity levels right and that you are feeding it the correct foods, that may help the rest of the problems.
