injured tortoise

i found this tortoise on the road and i think it was hit by a vehicle.. a part of the shell is broken and the front leg is twisted and cant walk properly and wont eat.. how do i treat the twisted leg?? does the shell grow back?

I'm so glad you care about the tortoise!

It really needs medical attention. The biggest danger is probably internal injuries, which you will not be able to see or treat.

I would find a tortoise rescue facility if possible. Failing that, simply find a vet who would be willing to at least examine the animal to determine what would be the best treatment.

Keep it slow and steady.
