Hi there, I have a Horsefield tortoise and was told he was 10 months old. We have only had him since last November and loved every minute of having him but recently my mum has bought 2 horsfields and they are awake and active during the day and it has made me worry because Scooter isnt like that, he would sleep permantently if I let him. My dad thinks he might be cold and thats why he isnt waking up, but we have a heat lamp for him and a UV light on during the day. When he is awake which is only after I have woken him, he eats and poos and wees and I bath him twice a week. I am just worried that he isnt very active, please help.
