Male snapping turtle wont eat his food and is keeping his eyes shut?

I have a male snapping turtle that is about a year and a half old.

I was moving things around in my room and so I emptied out his 75 gallon tank but still left 3-5 inches of water so it wasn't so heavy and I could move it around, it was like that for around 2 1\2 days and when I fed him and he didnt eat I assumed it was because of the water level
I filled it up and everything today and fed him again (usually he would be starving) but he didnt eat and he has been keeping his eyes shut a ton in the past few days like hes sleeping or something but he had never really done that before.
he still is swimming around and seems okay but if you have any suggestions or comments they would be greatly appreciated!
