why deos everyone on the internet have more then one tortoise and people i know and in the pet shop they keep them with lizards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Pet shops keep lots of animals in small spaces. Pet stores probably keep tortoises and lizards together because their habitats are alike.

But tortoises don't needd to be kept with any other animals.
