Missing tortoise

My love Blackjack just woke up from hibernation 4.11/11,

He seem to have a had time adjusting at first but by Saturday he was running around, eating, and acting himself. Today he got out of the yard I have no idea how and apparently someone found him in the street and just put him under a bush at the house next door. I found this out about 2 hours later. Well now he is gone and I am quite a wreck. I put food in our driveway hoping he will come back to eat. What is the likely hood of him coming back home? Thanks for any help you can offer!
