my 2 month old sulcata won't eat

by danny robertson

I brought him home from the pet store 4 days ago. The first day home he walked around his tank for a while then buried himself in the timothy hay. He stayed in that position until 4pm the next day, I took him out placed him under the light and he went for his food ( 1/4 cup lettuce). Went back to his hiding. For the past 2 days all he does is hide, when I take him out he won't eat, just goes back to the hay. I even tried soaking him for 10 minutes same thing. Is he getting sick??

TALK TO THE STORE YOU BOUGHT HIM FROM, ALSO RESEARCH PROPER FOOD'S FOR HIM AS WELL, LETTUCE ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH NUTRITIONAL VALUE. make sure he is warm , because if he gets to cold he will try to hibernate...GOOD LUCK , REMEMBER A HAPPY TORTOISE IS A ONE WELL CARED FOR..RESEARCH PLS..
