my baby star tortoise 2 inch long n 1.5 inch breadth shell , sleeps a lot.

yesterday my friend gifted me a star tortoise. who is 2 inch long n 1.5 inch broad. now it's more than 14 hrs he is sleeping. when i brought him in evening we was active n walking now he is only sleeping , i m worried. please help
