My gaboon turtle

I got my gaboon (African side necked) turtle about 2 months ago,all seemed fine until i noticed that she was a little bit quieter than usual.There was nothing wrong with her its just she looked lonely as if she was hoping for a friend?I tried putting a mirror behind her tank so she could see her refelction but that didnt change a thing.Is it possible she is lonely and another turtle of her age,breed and sex would relieve this?
