we recently got a hermann's tortoise and he seems healthy and happy with a regular eating pattern of t-rex tortoise dry formula. i also dampen this with
water I also dust over the top with nutribol to help his growth etc. but he won't drink water. we have left a bowl of water and he doesn't touch it he won't eat vegetables either will the water content in his food be enough or will he dehydrate? :S

It is quite common for chelonians not to drink. If they are soaked daily, they will be fine. They take in fluid through body cavities.
Keep it slow and steady.

Place him in about 1" of luke warm water for about quarter of an hour and I bet he will drink mine always do, try this every three days they stick their neck out and you can see it going in and out as they drink.
