Indian Star Tortoise

Hi,
I hav a Male Indian Star Tortoise,the length of its plastron is 5.1 inches.
I need 2 knw whether any diseases can be transferrd frm human to tortoises or vice versa bcause i normally sleep wid my tortoise.
My star tortoise is very active while feeding but once he is done with it he runs for a dark corner 2 sleep.
It sleeps for around 12-16 hrs a day.
Is there ny problem with its health.
I give him variety of foods dat include,
1)coriander leaves
2)lettuce leaves
3)brocolli & brocolli leaves
4)cabbage
5)oranges,grapes(ocassionaly)
6)lady finger without seeds
7)grass
8)tomatoes
9)carrots,beet
10)rose petals,flowers,etc
It eats 3 times in a day.
I also sprinkle cuttle bone powder while feeding 2 times a week & it drinks water almost everyday.
We give it a bath almost everyday in luke warm water as it eats a lot.
Can any 1 tel me am i feeding right things to my tortoise.
Can any 1 suggest the name of a vitamin D3 supplement dat i can buy from a pet store.
