my new turtle looks unhappy

I don't really know much about turtles and I just got one for the first time yesterday, he is an aquatic turtle but he keeps on swimming to the corner of his aquarium as if he wants to get out and its seems like he isnt eating is that normal?

It's normal for a turtle to take a day or two to get used to its new environment. This could mean exploring and not eating.

If this carries on for more than a couple of days, do see a vet.

In the mean time, be sure you have the correct lighting. Also be sure your turtle can get out of the water to bask.

Keep it slow and steady.
