my softshell turtle

i have a softshell turtle slider and a florida softshell turtle both small about 2 inches got them recently from a pet shop in vegas...while the florida softshell turtle looks good and always buried under the sand the slider doesnt look to good...first it doesnt like to be on water and always resting on the rock away from water, yesterday my wife pick it up and we noticed his face looks really bad: his left side eye is all puffy and swollen as well as under his mouth jaw it literally looks like mike tyson beat the poor turtle, i really dont know whats wrong with the turtle but im affraid his gona die, can you please tell me what can be wrong with it
any info will really help

Turtle Problems

First of all, no one can say for sure what's happening without seeing your animals.

Second, and really important, I would separate these animals. If one if beating up on the other, you need them to be apart. And if one is ill, you need them to be apart so disease doesn't spread.

In general, it's not a good idea to keep different breeds together because they are susceptible to different diseases and can catch things from each other very easily. You may not even know one of them is carrying a disease because it may not have any symptoms, but it can still be contagious.

Take your ill pet to the vet for help.

Keep it slow and steady.
