my tortoise has a skin problem

i have a 3 year old male russian tortoise he shed his skin but it never went back hard and now most of the skin on his back legs is really soft what can i go about this? i feed him on weeds with calci-dust every day and nutrobal on sundays am i doing something wrong if u want a better picture ask me but pls help me i have had him from the day he was born and i dont want him to die or anything :(

costly pets

I know about costs. But if the animal is really in trouble, the longer you leave it, the worse it will be.

You might want to consider pet insurance. exotic pets can be pricey. There's a form on the blog of this web site that has a link to pet insurance.

But frmo teh photo and the description, I think it's worth a trip to the vet.

yer but see i dont wanna go to the vet and pay 100 odd GBs and then have them say its nothing and i cant afford that

skin problems

I think this would be a reason to see a vet.

If you've had a pet for 3 years and have a strange problem, it's usually a good idea to get it checked out.
