my tortoise wont poo!

my tortoise has not been eating as much as usual and not been coming out of his sleeping area a much. I have also noticed that he has not had a poo for a number of days. is this normal?

Be sure the temperature is high enough to metabolize the food.
Try a warm soak to provoke the bowels.
