If your tank is glass, it might be getting stressed because it doesn't understand it can't get through, this is really bad for it. Get a solid container to keep it in. If you can't do this, put some cardboard up against the glass so it can't see out. If it isn't glass, maybe it just wants to burrow, does it have substrate it could bury itself in? Try giving it some timothy hay to mess in

its quite normal if it isn done less amount of times. but if ur turtle is doing it often then it might be a skin prooblem also. just observe and if its quite often take it to a vet.
