My yellow bellied slider keeps opening and closing its mouth while under water....

I have two yellow bellied sliders that I've had for approximately 4 months. I'm worried about one of them because it is continuously opening and closing it's mouth (I don't notice the other one doing that) .. so I'm thinking it may indicate there's a problem. Everything else seems normal, it's eating and is active (not as much as the other one however). Is this something I should be concerned about?

Well, does he bask normally,( temp should be upper 80's,lower 90's) eat a healthy diet fortified calcium pellets, romaine lettuce etc. is the water a good temperature based on there age? Using a UVB light (ie 10.0 coiled) is his shell hard, and eyes bright) does he stretch out with his neck stretched high? These are all signs of a healthy, happy turtle. I hope this is of some help. Sincerely, Susan.
