Normal Lump?

Hey i have a horsefield tortoise and i have only just recently noticed al lump on the tail. To my knowledge it is a male and he is walking fine. This lum is not a different colour it looks like the rest of him but it has just appeared on his tail. Can you help me, do you know what it could be?? Thank you
