Not eating...

Yellow Bellied Slider

My turtle is a yellow bellied slider i have had him for 9 months now and he has not ate for about a month. He doesn't live with any other turtles and has clean water. He looks fine and he likes to come out of his tank to play. The shell isn't soft. He is 5 inches big.

First of all, that's a great photo of your yellow bellied slider!

If he's happy otherwise, I don't think I'd be too worried. Are you absolutely sure he isn't anything at all?

Of course if you are really worried, a trip to the vet can clear your mind of worry.

Keep it slow and steady.
