he is blowing bubbles from his nose and his nose is bleeding a little bit what does this mean i just got him he is not under a heat lamp yet but im going to the store to buy him stuff today
When my greek tortoise was blowing bubbles out of his nose it turned out he had a respiratory infection. The lighting is a major factor, I hadn't changed his sunlight when it was time, so make sure to get him his proper sunlight and heat and then I would seriously suggest taking him to a tortoise vet to be checked out. My vet gave him a shot of vitamins when this was happening and he recovered rapidly, respiratory infections can be very bad if not taken care of and the blood factor scares me, so definetley get the lights for him and then take him to the vet. I hope he gets better soon!
