Thank you for your comment but it was a false alarm, ive only had my tortoise a week and im just getting to know him, turns out he was asleep and it was his closed eyelids......I know that sounds really thick but its the first time ive taken him out of his vivarium when hes been sleeping and the rest of the time hes sleeping hes been under him arch/bed so not seen his eye closed :).

Your pet has a serious eye condition that will not get well on its own. You need to get to a vet as soon as possible. This sounds to me like caseated pus and it must be professionally removed. Then the vet will give you medicine for the eyes.
