cold for turtle

My turtle to had the same problem and it's normal....During cold turtle tends to have such problem...Simplest way is to get a capsule of vitamin A from medical shop and put the liquid of the capsule on a food item Ur turtle eat the most.... He'll get recover within couples of day

closed eyes

My baby turtle has had his eyes closed the whole day today. He used to open them every time when handled but today he just moves a little and hides in his shell with out opening his eyes. I just got him a week ago so I don't know if this is normal or not. please help

Puffy eyes can be a sign of an eye infection or an advanced respiratory infection. If he is showing any signs like sluggishness, loss of appetite, or hard breathing, he needs to be taken asap because they can kill a turtle in a matter of a few weeks. But even for just an eye infection he needs to be taken so he can get treatment.

See a vet. Eye infections can become very serious, even life-threatening. The longer you wait, the worse it is likelyt o become.
