during the summer months while my tortoise was outside more it's stool looked normal. Now that the weather has gotten colder he is inside just eating vegetables his stool has turned white and very little. any suggestions on what it needs,or needs to be done
Besides the information in that article, you need to know when to be concerned.
1. If the animal eliminates urates more than a couple of times a week, see a vet. 2. If the urates is hard or gritty, see a vet. (It should be the consistency of bird droppings.)
