Red eared Slider

i have a red eared slider and it swallowed a rock and popped out the side of its neck? now its like an open wound. what are the odds that it will be able to survive?

I can't say if it will live or die, but an open wound like that would warrant a trip to the vet who will be able to give you better advice.
