RED FOOT

by Jeff Franklin

I purchased a Red Foot Tortoise last year for my son, and the tortoise has been doing fine since until this week. Now it appears to have lost its appetite and won't open its eyes at all. I have tried soaking it in water twice a day for the last 3 days and been applying reccomended eye drops with no luck. The tortoise also seems to have lost all energy and barely moves around his home. Yesterday and today it has a white milky substance coming from its behind. We do not have a local Vet in our area to take it too and don't know what else to do. I just went home for lunch to check on it and it seems to be worse, after soaking it there was hardly any movement and seemed to become limp.

Any advice or help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Please email and response to jtfranklin@gfb.org

Thanks Jeff

VET !!!!!

you need to seek a vet asap .Even if this means to travel . when you purchase an exotic animal of any kind you need to be prepared to give it the care it needs !!
