Yes you can breed them, google breeding of red earred turtles, and follow directions, also they love fresh greens, (spring mix greens)) meal worms, dried shrimp (on occasion), halves of a grape occasional...if you look up their feeding habits you will receive more foods that are good for them as well. They need a large area to grow, a pond would be perfect
