My Russian tortoise has a crack on his face from just below his eye down to the centre of his beak, there is a slight gap and there appears to be movement when he is eating.
Will this heal naturally or does it need to be repaired? He is still as active and is eating although he is favouring using the opposite side of his mouth from the crack Any help appreciated
This would be a situation for a vet. Without seeing the problem, no one can say for sure. I'd be concerned since your friend is favoring one side of his face.
