Shared habitat

Will snapping turtles inhabit the same (farm) pond as non-snapping turtles? Are the painted turtles and others at risk of being attacked by the snappers? These are two separate questions.

Snapping turtles must be housed alone . I know it seems like a sad lonely life , but they will snap at whatever moves . They may not intend to hurt another turtle but it will likely happen if they are together . Even other snappers will harm each other . I own a Florida snapping turtle and I bought him off a guy who had him with another snapper . My poor Rex is missing his tail because of that :( . They will eat anything that is available , and make a great pet . It is very entertaining watching them eat :)
