sleep and food

I have a juvenile (1 yr) horsefield tortoise, it sleeps constantly, seems to eat nearly nothing. IS this normal or should I take to vet?

It's always a good idea to take your pet to a vet if you can't explain behaviour. Yours might be getting ready to hibernate, but it's worth a checkup.
