Slider Turtle

What can be done for our slider turtle who appears to have its back foot bitten off possibly by a racoon or skunk in our yard last night? Is he in pain and can he survive?

Yes, a turtle can feel pain.

And yes, this is a very serious situation. Just as serious to you pet as it would be for you if your leg were missing.

Quickly, get there fast! a turtle could get infected bleed out, and quite possibly die!

Get the vet ASAP!
