Star with a broken carapace

My star tortoise has a part of the carapace near its shoulders broken. It is more of aesthetics but otherwise he is healty and eats normally? how can i make the carapace grow back?

If it is only cosmetic, just leave it.
If there is any danger of infection, see a vet. A vet can properly clean a wound, give antibiotics for infection, and rebuild the carapace.
